Beijing CIPPE Begins Today; Continuous Highlights Come from KOSUN Stand

On Mar 20th, with waving colorful flags and teaming crowds at New China International Exhibition Center, 14th China International Petroleum Petrochemical Technology and Equipment Exhibition(CIPPE), the largest worldwide oil exhibition, is in its full swing. It has attracted thousands of oil equipment manufacturers and buyers at home and abroad for business discussions.  
The exhibitors resorts to “the unexpected”, like art performances, charming models and massive screen advertisements for more attention. However, the most eye-attracting are the new equipment and technologies on display. No doub, “NEW” is the major feature this year.
At the same time, continuous highlights have been shown from Xi’an KOSUN Machinery Co., Ltd.(KOSUN), who also puts some innovative touches onto its stand.
Eight new equipment on display 
The biggest one is to showcase eight new equipment, apart from the old Centrifugal Pump and DC355 Decanter Centrifuge. Black Rhino Shale Shaker, DG70-1 Screw Pump, DC530 Decanter Centrifuge, Vertical Centrifuge, Black Rhino Mud Cleaner were all newly developped in the recent years. 
DC530 Decanter Centrifuge is a new upgrade from the original manufacture techniques, recently innovated and improved in terms of separating effects and efficiency. And another new product, Black Rhino Shale Shaker is transformed on motors, function modulization as well as performance from the old QZS703 and QZS83. Co-sponsored by Xi’an KOSUN Machinery Co., Ltd. and ES Company, Vertical Centrifugal also debuted at Beijing CIPPE along with Black Rhino Mud Cleaner and DG70-1 Screw Pump. 
Many customers visited and enquiried at KOSUN stand for the first day. Among them, those from Egypt and Russia expressed strong interest and intention to cooperate.

This year, KOSUN organized the ever largest exhibition team  to cover assistance services, technical support, multi-ligual services and nogotiations with corresponding professionals. 
The Company specially prepared on-site desserts by their bakers and free beverages, and foreign bands to warm up for peak time, which attracted many visitors who were well impressed by their hearty, considerate hospiatality and warm, relaxing atmosphere.

High G-force in a drilling mud shale shaker is essential to convey the amount of cuttings generated while drilling a bore hole, to properly dewater drill cuttings, to reclaimin expensive drilling fluids, and to minimize drilling fluid waste. While drilling top-hole sections, where heavy, high-volume cuttings are typically encountered, shakers need to generate high G-force to effectively convey dense solids. KOSUN’s variable linear motion vibrator motors are designed to give the operator the ability to adjust the G-force of the shaker to perform under high solids loading conditions and when managing reactive, sticky, or fine solids. KOSUN Creates a New International Market Patten in North Africa


After KOSUN won two sets of fully-configured 70D Solids Control System from GWDC, KOSUN signed another contract of 750 Workover Rig Solids Control Equipment with the national drilling contractor in Egypt. In doing so, KOSUN has further opened markets in North Africa, and also created a new international market pattern.

The international drilling contractor from Egypt required full set of solids control equipment be delivered within one month on 12th June. After receiving notification, KOSUN made every effort to meet the delivery requirements with "Customer First" spirit. The marketing department coordinated and transferred cargo actively, production department worked overtime. It turned out that all the equipment was completed within 25 days.
As for our export to Egypt, the customer required pre-shipment inspection and a series of tests and documentations be produced, the document department cooperated with the marketing department, they made great efforts to meet customer's requirements, and eventually they won the high praise from customers.
This drilling contractor customer purchased shale shaker, desander, desilter, degasser, centrifugal pump, agitator, mud gun and a full set of solids control equipment.

“3 high”and “2 shallow”well blowout technical measures


According to the request of and ,Following are measures about “3 high”and “2 shallow”Well blowout technical measures.
1.Seriously implement the CPC group co., LTD. improve the Well control consciousness and the idea of” Positive well control”for all staff more ,promote the management level of site Well control.
2.Before starting well location and well exploration,the related department and drilling crew should learn surrounding ground and subsurface picture plus,who should contact local government to formulate effective and feasible precautionary measures in order to ensure construct safety .
3.Before drilling,in the 600m around the wellhead ,all of the injection well should achieve the request of stop note put overflow.according to the design rule,we need to store enough blanc fixe and high performance wight equipment .or not start drilling .
4.Before construction ,drilling crew should combined the fact of construction to formulate operate emergency plan of well control aiming to the risk of construction well .
5.The safety department should supervise the key wells and the first risk well .and strengthen the inspection of well control to overcome the fluke mind in which can assure the well control measures.this way can not assure the job of well control risk.
6.Insure the installation quality of the well solids control equipments and arrange specially-assigned person to manage it.Enhance the inspection and maintainance of well control equipments at site. If there is any problem, try to solve it timely to guarantee the equipments to work well. Provide complete sets of BOP tools and insure they can work well.
7.Before drilling ,the technical person need to contact with all drilling crew members .the management center of key well and risk well need to go site to contact with well technical persons .When drilling gas and oil layer ,we need to declare for examination and approval system in order to cause enough attention for all staff.
8.Every time before drilling oil and gas layer,we need to adjust the density to the upper limit of design,circulate 2 rounds above ,rest 300 minutes ,and drill down 250-350 m.When no oil gas blow out ,start drilling again.at the time of drilling,we should control the speed of drilling rig,and use 1 file to start drilling finish 3 drilling every time ,and then fill drilling fluids once,In the event of suction on the drilling process,we should take off the rig to deal with and recorded by special persons.
9.In the process of construction,we should execute the system of duty strictly .Duty start from “3 high”and “2 shallow”.We should record and measure the conditions of performance of drilling fluids ,the volume of drilling ,oil and gas according to the request.When finding the abnormal condition or blowout ,we need to report at once.
10.Achieving the level of “Standardization and skilled”should through the emergency exercise and improve the skilled operation for all staff .
11.Electronic test,there is a special person obverse the wellhead,and who fill the drilling fluids in time .the time of electronic should not pass 8 hours .or drill drift.When changing the bit,we should keep the amount of rig tools inner well in order to shorten the time of empty hole and blowout.
12.Before casing, in convenient of picking up the drill pipe when blowout occurred during the casing ,we should replace the corresponding size ram (can use micro variable bore ram) according to the regulations or reserve casing circulating sub on the rig floor, For replacing the bop ram,we should retest the blowout preventer to ensure the control equipment works well.
13.Under construction,we should implement the management of fire prevention,anti-explosion and other well control reporting system step by step strictly.Any abnormal situation should be report or asking for intructions timely in order to take an emergency measure. All drilling crews must ensure a smooth communication in case of all abnormals can be reported to the superior authorities in time.Finishing the wellhead within 30 minutes after completion of the cementing, welding simple wellhead and the vent valve.During the Hou coagulation, a special person obverse channeling risk situation for the wellhead or around.A timely report and taking emergency measures should be made to guartantee a safety drilling construction process.

The detailed maintenance of drilling mud centrifugal pump


The working environment of drilling centrifugal pump is bad, need to deliver the drilling fluid for a long time, so we need to maintain it constantly. The following is the detailed maintenance of centrifugal pump.
1 Impeller: It must be renewed if serious cavitation (in particular the main vanes) and excessive damage.
2 Shaft: Repair and maintain or renew it if the runout is over 0.05mm, the location of lip seal had been seriously bruised and the surface of shaft had been damaged.
3 Shaft sleeve: Please renew it if rough surface and serious damage.
4 Lip Seal: The dismantled lip seal must be changed.
5 Ball Bearing: For the bearing which is too wearing, and too tight, loose or with noise when operating, sure to renew it (Note: The new bearing box is unpacked only when renewing and it must be the same type and size as original one).
6 All the parts and particularly the rotating ring of mechanical seal, ‘0’ sealing groove, thread, sealing face, bearing and its lubricating location must be carefully cleaned. Also polish the rough location with sifts gauze.
7 When assembling the inboard bearing, the two bearings should be back to back, sure to buckle the lock washer after screwing the locknut and the locking force is 346N.M.
8 A thin layer of antifriction should be smeared on the shaft before fitting the shaft sleeve.
9 The clearance between the back of impeller and protecting plate is 0.6mm.
10 The locking force of each bolt & nut is 195N.M.
11 The packing gland cannot be screwed too tight and keep the liquid leaking drop by drop, or the packing will be burned down when the oilfield drilling fluids decanter centrifuge pump operating.
12 The assembling can be proceeded as the opposite sequence and pump shaft should smoothly rotate after assembling.
